Way, way back in last year, when it was warm and sunny.......(can you remember that?).......I went surfing down in Newquay. After that I promised to put some photos of the action on here. Unfortunately the duty photographer is still to produce the goods (personally I think he had left the lens cap on) so that promise is still to be fulfilled. But here his one shot of Anita and I practicing on our boards before getting out on the water.
For those of you that didn’t know or hadn’t realised, most of the adventures I put on here are shared experiences and Anita is that special lady I share them with. If you look back carefully through some of the earlier pictures you may just get a glimpse of her, although picking her out during the London Triathlon swim is just about impossible.
Yesterday we went to London to meet up with family and friends and went to watch Frank Skinner (and some of his friends) at the Noel Coward Theatre. As soon as Frank walked on the stage he had his audience in stitches and his routine was so slick it almost appeared as if he had ad-libbed the whole evening. There were also four support acts (Frank’s friends) and of particular note was Doc Brown, a young comedian who I had never seen or heard of before, but if last night was anything to go by he has a great future and I predict he will be on the small screens in our homes soon - if he isn't already. Lee Nelson was also there and again he had us holding our sides as he hit us with his one liners, changing tack so quickly he never failed to raise a laugh from us.
All I can say is, if you go and see Frank, don’t sit in the front row.......
Back to London for me today........maybe another entry here tomorrow......stay tuned and have a great day.
